PUBLIC INFORMATION

The Caribou kayak is constructed and developed by W& B Pettersson Caribou design Co. The varying weather on the west coast has given the Caribou it's unique form. The kayaks high and extreme V - formed stem makes the bout move gracefully threw the water. A good float volume prevents the kayak to go right threw the waves. The long keel makes it easy to hold course. In hard wind and ruff sea we recommend a ruddersystem. The kayaks are one of the most stabile constructions in it's class.  The form of the cockpit, makes it easy to step in and out of the kayak. The high paddle comfort makes it easy to be in the kayak for many hours without any discomfort. The Caribou kayaks carrying capacity, volume, functionality and using areas makes it suitable for all paddlers.
